Dr Wee: Amicable outcome to Timah whiskey controversy thwarts intention to play up religious, ethnic issues

PETALING JAYA: The amicable outcome for the homegrown Timah whiskey name-change controversy has thwarted some parties' intention to play with religious and ethnic issues, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic).

The Transport Minister said he was glad that the issue has been resolved in a peaceable manner, where the name change is not necessary.
