Covid-19: Sabah moves into Phase Four of NRP from Monday (Nov 8)


KOTA KINABALU: The easing of more economic and social restrictions are expected in Sabah with the state moving into Phase Four of the National Recovery Plan from Nov 8.

Minister in charge of Covid-19 matters in Sabah, Datuk Masidi Manjun posted this update in his Twitter account on Friday (Nov 5) afternoon.

“Sabah has qualified to move to Phase 4, National Recovery Plan with effect from 08/11/21,” he said in his tweet.

“Although more restrictions would be lifted under Phase 4, please continue to observe all SOPs,” he reminded the public.

The updated SOPs and restrictions are expected to be given by next week.

Sabah recorded almost 75% fully vaccinated adults and over 65% fully inoculated teens as of Thursday (Nov 4).
