Selangor Sultan, Tengku Permaisuri: Celebrate Deepavali in harmony, respect and tolerance


SHAH ALAM (Bernama): Selangor's Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin expressed hope that Deepavali, which will be observed on Thursday (Nov 4), will be celebrated in harmony, respect and tolerance, with a strong spirit of unity.

In a post on the Selangor Royal Office official Facebook page on Wednesday (Nov 3), Their Royal Highnesses hoped that the Deepavali would be celebrated in a lively manner, but at the same time to remain vigilant and comply with the standard operating procedures (SOP) set as Covid-19 was still in the community.
