Hishammuddin: Defence Ministry to make full use of RM16.1bil allocation

KUALA LUMPUR: The allocation of RM16.1bil for the Defence Ministry is the highest since the Ninth Malaysian Plan, says Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.

The Defence Minister said the ministry will make full use of the allocation for the benefit of the defence sector and fulfilling the Malaysian Family aspiration, especially for Armed Forces personnel and veterans as well as the ministry's civilian personnel.

"Alhamdulillah, Budget 2022 is inclusive, all-encompassing and a budget from the people, by the people and for the people.

"No segment of the people was left out," he said in a Facebook post on Friday (Oct 29).
