KUCHING: Even as Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg dampened speculation on the dissolution of the Sarawak legislative assembly, other leaders have hinted that the state election would be held soon.

According to Abang Johari, the power to dissolve the state assembly to pave the way for an election lies in the hands of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
