PETALING JAYA: The Education Ministry will decide on the next steps in fixing SJK(T) Telok Panglima Garang’s fallen roof after receiving the report from the district education office, says Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon.

The Deputy Education Minister said the ministry was still waiting for a report from the Public Works Department as well, in order to determine the issues and what steps can be taken to repair the building soon.

“This school is 44 years old and upon visiting it, we noticed that the roof has fallen off.

“We will work closely with the Kuala Langat MP, Datuk Dr Xavier Jayakumar,” he said on Thursday (Oct 14) after visiting the school, which has 478 pupils.

Dr Xavier was also present.
