Sarawak mulling insurance scheme for welfare aid to elderly

KUCHING: The Sarawak state government is studying the formulation of an insurance scheme to provide welfare assistance for senior citizens, says Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

The Chief Minister said this was necessary as the elderly population was expected to grow in the coming years.
