Covid-19: Sarawak Deputy CM James Masing tests positive


KUCHING: Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri James Masing (pic) has been hospitalised after testing positive for Covid-19.

He is currently warded in the intensive care unit of the Sarawak General Hospital here.

"The doctors and nurses are doing a fantastic job in caring for my ailment," Masing said in a brief WhatsApp message on Tuesday (Sept 28).

He added that he had a fever and was coughing.

Astro Awani reported that Masing took a PCR test after experiencing the symptoms and was confirmed positive on Tuesday.

Masing has received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
