PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 11,332 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (Sept 28), the Health Ministry reports.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, in a Facebook post Tuesday, that the country’s cumulative total number of Covid-19 cases now stands at 2,220,526.
Four states reported four-digit case increases - Sarawak with 2,358 new infections, Johor (1,319), Selangor (1,231), and Kelantan (1,088).
A total of 986 patients are in intensive care units, with 574 of them requiring ventilator support.
