Two more villages under EMCO


KUALA LUMPUR: Kampung Sungai Padi in the Telang sub-district in Lipis, Pahang, and Kampung Air, Beluran, Sabah, will come under the enhanced movement control order from tomorrow until Oct 2.

“The standard operating procedures for the enhanced MCO is like previously announced,” National Security Council director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad said in a statement posted on Facebook yesterday.

Meanwhile, he said the enhanced MCO in Taman Samudera, Seri Manjung in Manjung, Perak, which was supposed to end today, has been extended to Oct 2.

The enhanced MCO in Sungai Cincin Orang Asli village in Batang Padang, Perak, ends today. — Bernama
