Local varsities must carry out 'academic intervention' to see to IR4.0 needs

PETALING JAYA: Necessary academic intervention must be carried out by all universities in the country to ensure they are up to date with the needs of the fourth industrial revolution (IR4.0), says Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Ahmad Masrizal Muhammad.

Dr Ahmad Masrizal stressed on the need to improve digitalisation in higher education, which emphasises importance on elements such as the Internet of Things (IOT), Cyber-physical systems (CPS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
