Abdul Latif's achievement proves Malaysia can produce world class athletes, say King, Queen

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah said that long-jumper Abdul Latif Romly’s outstanding achievement at the Tokyo Paralympics proves that Malaysia is capable of producing world standard athletes and individuals.

In a post shared on Istana Negara's official Facebook account on Saturday (Sept 4), Their Majesties said it also proved that with commitment, great fighting spirit and hard work, Malaysians are able to compete and succeed on the world stage.
