Covid-19: MOH takes drastic steps to maximise HTAR's capacity

SHAH ALAM (Bernama): The Health Ministry (MOH) has taken various drastic and immediate steps pertaining to Covid-19 patients at the Tengku Ampuan Rahiman Hospital (HTAR), Klang, including maximising the hospital capacity to enable more patients to be treated.

MOH secretary-general Datuk Mohd Shafiq Abdullah said the bed occupancy rate (BOR) for Covid-19 patients at the hospital, which is categorised as a state referral and Covid-19 hybrid hospital, is currently at 154.73 per cent, equivalent to 1,098 patients.
