Respect his family's privacy, say cops about nude motorcyclist in viral video

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Police have advised the public against sharing a video of a naked man who was riding a motorcycle at Jalan Muthu Palaniappan here.

Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Shafee Abd Samad said the 29 second video which circulated in Whatsapp was detected by police at about 8pm on Thursday (August 12).

"Initial investigation found that the individual had mental problems as he had been seen talking to himself," he said in a statement on Friday (August 13).

ACP Shafee said the man has been referred to the psychiatric unit in Seberang Jaya Hospital for treatment.

He advised the public not to share or forward the video related to the incident to respect the privacy of the man's family.
