Ahmad Maslan: Issue of supreme council’s validity does not arise

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The issue of Umno Supreme Council’s (MT) validity for the 2018/2021 term which ended on June 30, 2021 as stated by the Registrar of Societies (RoS) does not arise.

Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said the interpretation given by Umno solicitor on Article 10.16 of the party’s Constitution clearly states that the postponement of party election is the prerogative of MT and the party only needs to inform RoS.
