PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin hopes that the political polemics dominating the country can now be put to rest after 31 Barisan Nasional MPs stated their backing for the Perikatan Nasional government until the motion of confidence is tabled in Parliament next month.
Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and other Barisan lawmakers for continuing to support Perikatan until the matter was brought to and settled in Parliament, Muhyiddin said their stance was in line with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong's decree.
