Covid-19 Watch: 15,764 new cases, Selangor still top with 6,067


PETALING JAYA: The country recorded 15,764 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (Aug 2), bringing the cumulative total to 1,146,186 infections.

Health director-general tweeted that Selangor still topped the list with 6,067 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (1,536) and Johor (1,222).

The number of infections recorded in other states are as follows: Sabah (1,166), Kedah (1,108), Negri Sembilan (862), Perak (748), Penang (667), Kelantan (552), Pahang (475), Melaka (463), Terengganu (425), Sarawak (411), Putrajaya (46), Perlis (nine) and Labuan (seven).
