Covid-19: 480,122 vaccine doses administered on Sunday (Aug 1)


PETALING JAYA: A total of 480,122 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered on Sunday (Aug 1).

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said that 298,236 people received their first dose, while 181,886 people received their second dose.

"(To-date) a total of 21,200,473 doses have been administered as of Aug 1," he tweeted on Monday (Aug 2).

Of the total number of 21,200,473 doses administered, Dr Adham said 14,247,659 people have received their first dose while 6,952,814 people have received their second dose.

This also means that 60.9% of the country’s adult population has received at least one dose, while 29.7% have received two doses.
