Four cops in the soup over party at police station

KAJANG: Four policemen, including a police station chief (OCS), are in trouble for allegedly organising a “private party” inside a police station here.

The Bukit Aman Integrity and Standard Compliance Department (JIPS) has since arrested the four policemen after receiving a public complaint on Tuesday.

A total of eight personnel, aged between 21 and 37, were arrested.

Alcohol bottles, disco lights and a sound system were among the items seized during the raid at the police station in the district.

“I confirm the incident and the arrests,” JIPS director Comm Datuk Azri Ahmad said when contacted yesterday.

The case is investigated under Section 269 of the Penal Code for committing a negligent act likely to spread infection of any disease dangerous to life.
