Ismail Sabri said of the 68 premises, 23 were factories, 43 were business premises and two were construction sites.

The task force, he added, also carried out 80,827 checks and snap inspections nationwide, involving 20,005 enforcement personnel.

Enforcement officers carried out 2,257 checks on factories, business premises (11,417), construction sites (1,148) and workers' hostels (268).

“As announced previously, the government has increased its inspections to beef up enforcement activities on SOP compliance by factories and business premises following reports of violations,” he said in a statement on Wednesday (July 14).
