PETALING JAYA: Although Malaysia has set up more than 1,000 vaccine dispensing centres (PPV) nationwide, more decentralised vaccination sites closer to residential areas are needed, say community groups.

Susan Fong, who is part of a group of volunteers ferrying the elderly in USJ and Subang Jaya to PPV and back, said as Malaysia picked up its vaccination speed, there was a need for more decentralised PPV and sites to operate longer hours.
