Melaka cops probing recruitment agency for allegedly bringing in foreign workers without Covid-19 tests


MELAKA: Police are probing a Petaling Jaya based agency specialising in foreign workers recruitment for possibly triggering a chain of infections that had currently placed the Ayer Keroh Industrial estate under the enhanced movement control order.

Melaka police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Majid Mohd Ali said the agency is believed to be responsible for bringing in 79 foreign workers to work in a factory in Melaka without undergoing the mandatory Covid-19 screenings.
