Scammers trick victim into giving up OTP code by posing as friend on Facebook

PETALING JAYA: Scammers tricked a victim into giving up her OTP code by masquerading as a friend on Facebook.

In a statement on Tuesday (July 6), Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said that the case occurred earlier this month and involved losses of around RM2, 691.
