UTM in knowledge sharing partnership with Gaza University

JOHOR BAHRU (Bernama): Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Gaza University (GU) in Palestine signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday (June 21) to collaborate in the field of academia.

The three-year partnership via UTM’s School of Computing (in the Faculty of Engineering) will facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge between academics, as well as support their vision.

"The same goes with collaboration between GU and UTM students and researchers in the field of engineering generally, but computing specifically,” said UTM vice chancellor, Prof Datuk Ts Dr Ahmad Fauzi Ismail, in a statement.

UTM’s MoU signing with GU president, Prof Dr Riyad Hassan El Khoudary, was witnessed by delegations from both sides via Webex.

Prof Ahmad said he hopes the partnership will strengthen their positions nationally and globally. - Bernama
