PETALING JAYA: There will be changes to the date and time of vaccine appointments for those in the Klang Valley as four more mega vaccination centres open on Monday (June 7).
The Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) said the changes are made to avoid congestion at the vaccination centres and to ensure physical distancing is practised.
“It is also to ensure the comfort and safety of people there, especially senior citizens and persons with disability who will be vaccinated under Phase 2 of the national immunisation programme, ” it said in a statement on Saturday (June 5).
The four mega vaccination centres that will be opening on Monday are Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil, Setia City Convention Centre and UiTM Puncak Alam.
