Free Covid-19 screening at PPRs and public housing from Saturday (June 5)

KUALA Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will be conducting free Covid-19 screenings for residents of people's housing projects (PPR) and public housing in the city.

In a statement on Thursday (June 3), DBKL said the programme, which will begin on Saturday (June 5), is limited to 300 people per day.

It added that the testing is open to anyone aged two and above, although children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

"Residents are advised to come early to avoid congestion at the venue. The screening will run from 7.30am until noon," said DBKL, adding that RTK-Antigen screening would be employed.

The screening programme will initially be held at Seri Sabah 3A (June 5-12), Seri Sabah 3B (June 5-14), Sri Pulau Pinang (June 5-10) and Seri Kota (June 5-16).

DBKL said the programme would be expanded to other PPRs and public housing projects in the city soon.

"It is held in collaboration with the Federal Territories Ministry and Yayasan Wilayah Persekutuan as part of our efforts to help the government curb the spread of Covid-19," it added.
