Herd immunity would depend on viral mutations and vaccine hesitancy, says KJ


PUTRAJAYA: There are two factors that will determine if the aim to achieve herd-immunity by the year-end can be achieved, says Khairy Jamaluddin.

“It depends if the variants continue to mutate and whether we can get those who have yet to register to come forward to be vaccinated, ” he said at a weekly press briefing on the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme on Tuesday (May 25).
