PETALING JAYA: A total of 15 new Covid-19 clusters were reported on Saturday (May 15), with eight of them emerging from workplaces.
Of the eight, six of the workplace clusters were from factories, while the remaining clusters were from a supermarket in Johor Baru and a construction site in Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur.
Another four were religious clusters, while two were involving the education sector.
One other cluster was involving a high-risk group at Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah in Penang.
“The cluster involved residents and workers at a care centre for senior citizens.
“The index patient is a 77-year-old man who tested positive before undergoing surgery,” the Health Ministry said in statement on Saturday (May 15).
Ten clusters ended on Saturday, bringing the total number of ended clusters to 1,410.
