Covid-19: 3,733 new cases, Selangor still top with 1,278


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 3,733 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (May 9), bringing the cumulative total to 440,677, says Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The Health director-general tweeted that Selangor has the highest number of infections at 1,278 followed by Sarawak (454) and Johor (365).

The number of cases in the other states were Kuala Lumpur (338), Penang (280), Kelantan (254), Negri Sembilan (205), Kedah (176), Pahang (100), Perak (80), Melaka (66), Sabah (61), Terengganu (49), Putrajaya (20), Labuan (six) and Perlis (one).
