People have let their guard down against Covid-19 owing to pandemic fatigue: Health DG

PUTRAJAYA: Pandemic fatigue as well as the reopening of many economic sectors are among the reasons for the rise in Covid-19 cases, said the Health Ministry.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said this could be seen in Malaysia in the past month, after 61,984 Covid-19 cases and 235 deaths were registered in April alone.
