Covid-19: Nibong Tebal school closed for four days


NIBONG TEBAL: SMK Methodist here will be closed from Tuesday (April 20) until Friday (April 23) due to Covid-19 cases being reported there.

The school will re-open again on Monday (April 26).

School principal Dr Sivasanggar Subramaniam said the directive was from the Education Ministry.

He urged parents to give their full cooperation to the closure.

State Health Committee chairman Dr Norlela Ariffin said the school principal had the prerogative to close schools if the virus posed a risk.
