Customs busts illegal brewery, seizes 59,104 litres of beer

SEREMBAN: A “mini-brewery” which has been producing beer illegally and targeting the foreign worker market has been shut down following a Customs raid.

Customs director-general Datuk Seri Abdul Latif Abdul Kadir said the illegal facility, located in a secluded area along Jalan Kuala Sawah here, had the capacity to produce one can of beer a second and was believed to have been operating for more than a month.
