THE daughter of popular songtress Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza may only be three but she is already taking on the central role in many of her mother’s projects, reported Harian Metro.

Most recently, Siti Aafiyah, whose birthday was on March 19, was appointed as the brand ambassador for a nutritious jelly drink for children and was also involved in her mother’s Legacy album project featuring songs for children.

Siti Nurhaliza said she was grateful that her daughter was cooperative.

“When we work with small children, we have to explain in a way they understand. I want to thank her nanny, who has been taking care of her and educating her a lot.

“I am grateful and thankful because at the same time, it makes my job easier. I don’t know what she does, but Siti Aafiyah always listens, ” said the 42-year-old.

Besides being an ambassador for products under Siti Nurhaliza’s company, the toddler also indirectly represents the business empire built by the singer and her husband, CTDK Holdings Sdn Bhd.

> The Malay daily also highlighted a community garden in Negri Sembilan, which had become a recreational place for military and police veterans to generate income.

The nine participants in the project had been growing vegetables and fruits since 2014 on a 0.9ha plot of land in Phase 1, Springhill Town, Port Dickson.

Pensioner Abdul Aziz Mohd Yunus, 57, said he had tried to work after retiring from the armed forces 15 years ago.

“But gardening is more fun because it’s more relaxing and healthier for me. Every morning and evening, we cultivate and water vegetables such as chillies, spinach, eggplant, kale, winged beans, mustard greens as well as corn and fruit trees, ” he said.
