Covid-19: 1,063 cases, lowest daily figure for 2021 so far

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia recorded 1,063 more cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday (Mar 16), the lowest daily figure for 2021 so far.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor has the highest number out of all the states with 323 new cases, followed by Sarawak with 183 and Penang with 175.

All other states recorded less than 100 new cases on Tuesday.

Johor reported 91 new cases while Kuala Lumpur registered 86 fresh infections.

Putrajaya and Perlis have zero cases.

Cumulatively, the country now has 326,034 confirmed cases since the pandemic began.
