Former Tabung Haji chairman fails to quash charges

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim (pic) has failed in his bid to quash three corruption charges he is facing pertaining to road projects in Perak and Kedah, as well as 10 charges for money laundering.

This followed High Court judge Justice Muhammad Jamil Hussin’s decision to dismiss the application on grounds that all the charges made against Abdul Azeez were not defective and based on the provisions of law.
