PONTIAN: The marine police have recorded their biggest score so far this year when it seized more than RM50mil worth of illicit cigarettes from a cargo ship near Pulau Kukup here.
Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department director Comm Datuk Seri Abd Rahim Jaafar said the Mongolia-registered ship was stopped at 2.9 nautical miles southwest of the island around 8.15pm on Monday (March 8).
