CMCO: Travel between Selangor, KL allowed but police permission needed to enter Putrajaya, says Ismail Sabri

PUTRAJAYA: Movement between Selangor and Kuala Lumpur is permitted under the conditional movement control order, which takes effect on March 5.

However, those from the two areas are not allowed to travel to Putrajaya, said Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

"This is to protect Putrajaya which is under the recovery MCO from having new Covid-19 infectivity," he said.

Those from Selangor or Kuala Lumpur who wish to go to Putrajaya would require police permission.

Ismail Sabri said likewise, those from Putrajaya travelling to Kuala Lumpur and Selangor would also need a green light from the police

Those travelling for work would require a letter from their employer, he said in a press conference Tuesday (March 2).
