Couple nabbed in drug lab bust, cops seize drugs worth over RM70k

GEORGE TOWN: Police busted a drug processing lab, detained a young couple and confiscated various types of drugs worth more than RM70,000 in an operation at a condominium in Lebuh Sungai Pinang.

George Town OCPD Asst Comm Soffian Santong said the couple was detained in two raids conducted by the district Narcotics Criminal Investigations Department during the wee hours on Wednesday (Feb 17).
