Businessman taken for a RM5,000 ride over luxury car deal


MELAKA: A businessman here was duped by a scammer claiming to be a Bukit Aman Commercial Crime officer over the sale of a "confiscated luxury car".

Melaka Commercial Crime chief Supt E. Sundra Rajan said the victim dealt with the "officer" through Facebook after responding to an advertisement on the sale of a 2008 model luxury car that was purportedly confiscated by the Customs Department.
