Health Ministry: 4,094 new Covid-19 cases, 10 deaths

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia recorded 4,094 new Covid-19 infections on Thursday (Jan 28), bringing the total number of cases nationwide to 198,208.

Of the total, 4,086 were local infections while the remaining eight are imported cases.

There were also 10 fatalities, bringing the death toll to 717.

There were also 3,281 recoveries, which means 154,299 have recovered from Covid-19 nationwide.

There are currently 43,192 active cases being treated at the country's hospitals and quarantine centres.

Of these, 303 are in intensive care units with 118 requiring ventilators.
