PUTRAJAYA: The government has adequate powers to curb the transmission of Covid-19 in the country without having to declare an emergency, says Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
The former prime minister said Malaysian citizens are generally obedient when it comes to following government orders compared to Western societies, where citizens would protest any sort of restrictions.
