SLS’ simplified guides for the public to help with Covid-19 contract disputes

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Law Society is drafting simplified legal mediation guides for the public on contractual disputes involving sums below RM300,000 based on the Temporary Measures for Reducing the Impact of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Act 2020 that was passed by the Dewan Rakyat this week.

The Sabah Act provides for free mediation services to be dispensed to the public through the Pusat Mediasi Covid-19 (PMC-19), undertaken by the Sabah Law Society (SLS) here, its president Roger Chin said.
