GEORGE TOWN: Bodyguard Ja'afar Halid, 41 who claimed trial to murdering three people at the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu on Dec 1,2016, was sentenced to death at the High Court here on Wednesday (Dec 16).
Judge Datuk Abdul Wahab Mohamed handed the death sentence under Section 302 of the Penal Code to Ja'afar for murdering his boss, businessman Datuk Ong Teik Kwon, professional clown Choi Hon Ming, and flower supplier M. Senthil.
