IPOH: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia and PAS will seek an audience with Perak Ruler Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, Sinar Harian reports.
It quoted a source from PAS as saying that the party is meeting the Bersatu leadership in Kuala Lumpur regarding the ongoing Perak political crisis.
"The reason we had to cancel our audience with Sultan Nazrin was because the party leaders were in the middle of the meeting.
"We will come out with a decision after the meeting is concluded," said the source who is also an assemblyman.
The matter came into light after PAS cancelled its meeting with Sultan Nazrin, which was scheduled at 3pm Tuesday (Dec 8).
In the 59-seat Perak assembly, PAS has three - Gunung Semanggol, Selama and Kubu Gajah.
Earlier, three Pakatan Harapan leaders - Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming, Perak PKR chairman Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak and Perak Parti Amanah Negara Datuk Asmuni Awi - were summoned to meet His Royal Highness at Istana Kinta.
This was followed by Umno reps Datuk Saarani Mohamad and Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.
