Taiwanese singers’ music videos nominated for LA awards


THE music videos Like a Star and One, after Another by Taiwanese singers Rainie Yang and Hebe respectively, have been nominated for the Los Angeles Film Awards 100 Best Projects, reported China Press.

Yang took to social media to express her delight and thanked all the parties involved in the making of the video.

“After filming the video for three long days, I am very happy that an international award recognises it, ” she said.

Both videos were directed by Muh Chen.

Chen documented 20 years of Yang’s career from stage shows to where she is now.

Meanwhile, Hebe’s video was created in eight months, including scriptwriting, filming, editing, and animation.

China Press reported that the men were aged between 25 and 41 years old.

The raid busted the online gambling syndicate and their operations headquarters.

> Hong Kong artiste Edwin Siu was forced into quarantine after coming in contact with a Covid-19 positive individual while filming, reported Sin Chew Daily.

He came in contact with a restaurant employee while filming a food and beverage show for the MyTV Super platform on Nov 18.

Siu’s wife Priscilla Wong was deeply saddened by the news.

However, Wong sought comfort in a bowl of noodle soup and fried chicken wings that Siu had prepared for her before he went into quarantine.

TVB also tested 205 artistes who came in close contact with Siu during their anniversary celebration recently.
