Mitec to hibernate from December

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec) will temporarily hibernate its operations from next month to minimise operating losses due to the impact of Covid-19 on the business events industry.

Mitec, which began operations in 2017, secured 65% of its business for 2020 but was severely impacted by the pandemic that led to a complete halt in business events.
