Mior Faridalathrash Wahid will be next Perak police chief


PETALING JAYA: Federal Criminal Investigation Department deputy director (Investigation/legal) Datuk DCP Mior Faridalathrash Wahid will be the next Perak police chief.

The transfer will also see him being promoted to Commissioner.

SAC Datuk Mazlan Santarai, currently the Perak Special Branch chief, will be his new deputy in Perak, and will be promoted to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).

Centre for Investigation and Prosecution Science Studies head SAC R. Munusamy will be transferred to the Administration Department of the Kuala Lumpur PDRM College.

Bukit Aman IGP Secretariat Corporate Communications head Senior Asst Comm Datuk Asmawati Ahmad, in a statement Thursday (Nov 19), said that the transfer order will take effect on Dec 21.
