No plans to introduce National Health Insurance for M'sians, says Deputy Finance Minister

KUALA LUMPUR: There is no plan to introduce a National Health Insurance Programme to provide health coverage to all Malaysians, the Dewan Rakyat was told.

Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Abdul Rahim Bakri (pic) said this is because the government allocates about RM30.6bil per year to provide high quality health services to the people.
