PETALING JAYA: A motorcycle thief that was stopped by the owner of the vehicle showed Covid-19 symptoms and confessed to being a close contact to a patient under investigation (PUI), says Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Zairulnizam Mohd Zainuddin.
"On Oct 17, the complainant, who is an auxiliary policeman at the University Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM), had just finished his duties there and was heading towards his motorcycle, when he spotted two men trying to steal his vehicle.
