KOTA KINABALU: Residents and businesses in Kota Kinabalu, Penampang and Putatan are generally complying with the conditional movement control order (MCO).

A drive around these areas found fewer cars than usual on the roads, and shops that were open were those listed under the essential services industry such as eateries, pharmacies, supermarkets and hotels.
